Prayers for the dead

Buddhist monks at the Jogye Temple in Seoul hang lanterns and pray yesterday for the well-being in the afterlife of the victims of the mass shooting Monday at Virginia Tech University. A total of 33 lanterns were hung to represent each dead person. The names of the dead people who have been identified were hung from individual lanterns. [YONHAP]
