Seven Days of “Sharing the Scent of Chrysanthemums”
 
 
 
Jogye-sa temple was joyfully exuberant this past October 4th, in preparation for the Third Annual Scent of Chrysanthemums Exhibition entitled, “Chrysanthemum Blossoming in October.”
 
This year’s event was not only cohosted by Hampyeung-gun village, but also by the Jongno municipality and Insandong Conservation Committee, in order to encourage a wider range of people, including non-Buddhists, to come and enjoy the exquisite fragrance of the chrysanthemum.  
After the opening ceremony kicked off the exhibition on October 7, numerous events were held, including captivating concerts, fascinating art competitions, and auspicious sutra recitations, within the Jogye-sa temple grounds and around the Insa-dong area. Visitors from around the world kept busy capturing memories with their cameras and enjoying the fragrance of the chrysanthemum flowers.
