Hyeondeoksa temple in Gangneung hosted the fifth ceremonial service, sending the soul of the wildlife to a better world.
More than five hundred of people gathered to attend the ritual.

To memorize and celebrate the seventh year ot Hyeondeoksa Temple foundation, this year’s ceremony was particularly highlighted with the Dharma Talk by ven. Amdo, the ex-Executive Director of Education of Jogye Order, which was followed by Memorial Dance by Juhyun Song’s Dance troupe and ven. Hayoo.

And birds like brown hawk-owl, Chinese scops owl, once injured or sick, have been released to wildlife after the treatment by The Korean Association For Bird Protection.
